Thus Studios is a small design studio with great dreams, driven by the ambition of becoming a creative full-service powerhouse, known for being widely engaged with sustainable solutions and always creating added value to projects in various scales and sizes.
With an architecture mindset rooted in the proud Nordic design traditions, THUS creates holistic and sustainable solutions based on the specific context from which their projects occur.
THUS consists of architects and project makers, Andreas Vendelbo & Omar Dabaan, who started their joint venture in 2021, with the clear ambition of creating daring projects with a focus on great architectural and constructional quality and usability.
THUS develops residential concepts, create design visions regarding private villas and leisure houses, and covers both new constructions and transformation projects etc. Common to the different projects and scale, is the determined approach of wanting to dig deeper regarding understanding the context and bringing back added value to the client, by engaging in a process of data driven design.
Architecture must stand out and make a difference, have a determined focus on bespoke detailing and at the same time be in perfect balance with the surrounding context and people. Whether it concerns creating art installations with a social focus or managing complex renovations, THUS have a clear vision of approaching all projects with a profound curiosity and propriety and thereby inspire collaborators and clients to obtain the same mindset by heart.
Sustainable architecture must be more than just green materials, and it is the ambition to create projects with a profound holistic approach were both social and economic sustainability is represented as part of the solution in all THUS projects.
